  1. I really enjoyed this post from Tiny Buddha!
I'm trying hard to look at what I've gained, and continue to gain from having a chronic illness.
(perhaps I should write a post about it?)

But sometimes things get over whelming...and some things have nothing to do with the illness, it's just seems bigger on top of it.

About journaling, I found that sometimes I just don't know what is really at the root of my troubles. So I will write for a few days or a week, just stream of consciousness, and I can go back and read through those and find a common thread, and it's like a light bulb...OH, that's really what is getting to me! Then I can use it to move on.

thank you for sharing this with me. I have signed up (finally) for email updates to Tiny Buddha.

    thanks again.

  2. Glad you liked it, Wendy. Yes, it is not always obvious or easy, is it? Sometimes we just have to sit with something awhile. But if I am not conscious and honest about my intention of doing this, then I become anxious and start feeling stuck. So when I say to myself that I am going to "feel this" for awhile and it is ok, then I seem to be much more at peace. I am not sure if this makes sense.
